Lightstaff > Nature Macro: Leafy Umbrella It's been raining on and off today and I managed to get a few shots the few minutes when the sun came out. It started drizzling again as I was taking this shot but good thing was my frond did a good job of shading me.
Lightstaff > Nature Macro: Toadstools on a Tree Trunk These tiny toadstools (or mushrooms, google tells me the words are interchangeable) were clumped all over a tree trunk and I just had to take a picture of them. I was torn between this shot and this.
Lightstaff > Backlighting: Red Onion I bought the onion specifically for this shot. Now it's all sliced up in a plastic container in the fridge and I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to eat it since I don't like onions in my food, can't give it to my dogs since it's bad for them, it would be wasteful to throw it away... what to do...
Lightstaff > Backlighting: Lightbulb This bulb was inside a little ceramic house that served as a night light. The house fell and broke but I kept the bulb since it was fine, just in case I needed it in the future. I'm glad I did :)
Lightstaff > Backlighting: CD Stack Oops, sorry for the late caption post! I just managed to shoot and upload before I had to go out, didn't have time to write anything before now :( I used a warm light for this which turned the transparent cds yellow and the orange pole into copper. The original image was so vivid I decided to desaturate it a bit.

Lightstaff > Nature Macro: Frog in Leafy Cradle There were dozens of these tiny froggies in our pond, most of which were just sitting around on the lilies but this one caught my eye, it was the only one looking snug asleep on a leaf. If you want to see the other froggies, they're over here :)

Lightstaff > Anything Goes: Tissue from Krypton This would be top view of the tissue in my tissue holder backlit by my trusty lamp. Original color was yellowish but I turned it green to add a bit more oomph and mystery. I hope it worked.
